"nice, new one"

This is a phrase that Sean and I have been hearing a lot lately. When Sean and I decided it was time for Isla to give up her bottles of milk, we told her that she could pick out a "nice, new" milk cup. We tried to make it a very special shopping trip for her, so I guess we used this phrase a lot since Isla has picked it up as part of her everyday vocabulary.

Everything is a "nice, new one". I give her blueberries for a snack and she tells me, "no, a nice, new one". I give her a cup of diluted apple juice and she tells me, "no, a nice new one". We go to the grocery store to go pick up some groceries and she tells me, "no, a nice new one". What does that even mean?? And when I say she "tells me", I really mean she either cries or screams it. What a character!
